The fear of asking

Internal adult reasons:Not qualified enoughNot readyRejectionBeing blamed for it later onNon-mutual feelingsFamily won't accept Giving up what we think we know about ourselvesNot being able to live up to the other person's expectationsRecently, children had fun asking me questions they knew the answer to (taught by their parents).
I watched as a little boy threw his bicycle down, hop on, and start riding furiously.
I asked him if has a helmet.
He said yeah.
I told him always wear a helmet.
He said OK! I watched as he ran home, put on his green mo-hawk helmet, and hop back on his bike.
With a childish heart, I asked, do you remember when your parent's were the most proud of you?
